Sense of accomplishment is at the root of Ric’s passion for the construction industry. It’s very motivating and truly inspiring to experience the progress on a jobsite week by week and month by month overseeing and observing what a diverse group of people have accomplished. Starting with a University of Wisconsin Construction Administration degree, Ric personally brings almost 40 years of experience in the construction industry to the table with a valuable mix of 17 years serving the constructor’s role as CM/GC with the balance of the years serving as Owner’s Representative leading the project team on the journey to success.

A lesson that Ric has learned along the journey in life is that there are certain things that we all covet, that we all desire, want and need but which we can’t begin to receive until we first give them away to others. Respect is one of those things and is a cornerstone of his interactions with all people. Mutual widespread respect creates an environment that allows good people to do great things together. Ric’s passion for building started at an early age and extends to his shop at home where he enjoys spending free time. Ask Ric about the dining hutch that he built when he was 16 years old!

Making an owner’s vision a reality and doing so while building collaborative relationships among general contractors, subcontractors and owners is what success looks like for Alex. It’s not just about the project, but about constructing places where people learn, grow, heal, and expand limits.  Alex’s father’s work as a carpenter, including building his own family home, sparked his childhood interest in what construction work can create and drew him through his years earning a BA in Business Administration, then as a laborer, next a construction project manager, and finally an owner’s representative. Spanning more than 25 years, Alex’s industry experience, problem-solving-orientation, and innovative solutions have resulted in numerous medical, religious, education and other projects coming to life.  Each project is important to him—from small to large—and each is a place where humbly solving problems constructively and leveraging the positive relationships inspire him every day to come back and watch buildings grow. Family, card games, golf, travel to other countries, and volunteering bring joy to Alex’s spare time.

Construction has been an integral part of Jerrod’s life since he was younger, growing up in a family of builders. His passion for construction continued through high school and into college where he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and a Minor in Safety. Now, with over 20 years of experience, Jerrod has held many different positions ranging from a Laborer to Superintendent to Senior Construction Manager. He’s managed a broad range of project types, the majority being healthcare but also education, corporate, and industrial projects. Through this extensive experience both in the field and in the office across a variety of projects, Jerrod is able to bring a well rounded set of skills to the table that help guide our partners through the ever-changing environment of a construction project.

In his free time, Jerrod enjoys spending time with his family coaching baseball and soccer, helping out in his children’s classrooms, running kids to and from their daily activities, and going on family trips. If there is any time left, you can find Jerrod somewhere in the great outdoors.
